Ross in order that an Aquarist Club may be formed in Perth. It was held in Dickies Tea Rooms on Thursday 27th November 1952 at 7.30pm. The Society was originally called Perth & District Aquarist and Pondkeepers Club. The first meeting had 30 members present. The club meetings were held on the last Thursday of each month. The club was renamed at the A.G.M. on 10th February 1955 to Perth Aquarist Club which it remained till 1966 when the club was called the Perth Aquarium Society and remains to the present day. Our present day meetings are held in the Perth Aquarium Societies club rooms at 6 St.Pauls Square Perth, this is situated immediately behind St.Pauls Church in South Methven St. The meetings are every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from September to June, to which all members are welcome. Meetings start at 7.30pm.and new members are always welcome.
